I’ve pretty much given up telling Danelle that we’ve seen the last snow for the year. We’ll probably have some for Thea’s birthday this year.

Danelle playing in the leaves. This is a fun activity as long as the leaves are crisp (not soggy)!
We will have lots of opportunity for raking and playing in leaf piles as all these leaves are slowly transferred to the yard waste bin for weekly pick up and delivery to the composting facility.
Hot Day
Saturday, May 17th, 2008Today was really hot. The forecast was for the 80’s, but it was hotter than that. Danelle, Koa, and I took a short walk to the park around 10:30 this morning. Even with water to drink there, Koa was acting hot when we got home. As I was walking in the house I saw the temperature outside. By the time I got my camera it had cooled down about 5 degrees, but still it was hot. How hot was it? See for yourself.
