Hall Family

After reaching 6 months, Thea has finally started getting to add some variety to her diet.  Here she is wondering what is about to happen, since she hadn’t really sat in the high chair too often.

And then all of a sudden there were some peas on her tray to play with.

In that meal Dayna did put one in her mouth, which she didn’t really seem to care for.  A day or two later I saw her get one in there herself.  She had quite the stunned look on her face, before it finally rolled out.  It seems peas aren’t too high on her list of favorite foods so far.

But rice…

It deserves some real concentration.  She even gets it in her mouth with some regularity.  We think she doesn’t even spit it all out.  She does seem to get it all over, which isn’t so bad according to some, while a bit tiresome to clean up for others.

The other food she really likes are black beans.  No pictures of those, but she likes to play with them and often eats one or two during a meal, we think.  It’s really hard to tell sometimes.
