Saturday, November 29th, 2008

It’s taken months, but Thea is finally figuring out how to sit up.  Pretty neat!

Hall’s Falls

A few pictures of our backyard after many of the leaves fall (but not all).  (PS–Do you see Koa?)

Danelle playing in the leaves. This is a fun activity as long as the leaves are crisp (not soggy)!

We will have lots of opportunity for raking and playing in leaf piles as all these leaves are slowly transferred to the yard waste bin for weekly pick up and delivery to the composting facility.

Rough Day

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

This morning I got to go get my flu shot.  Danelle really wanted to come and see me get a shot to know they weren’t too bad, since thea cried some after her last shots.  That was fun.  Of course having a 4 month old around is the main reason I got one this year, and she is worth it.

Fun Day

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

This morning the whole family got to go to a special pancake toddler group event.  Danelle got to show me all the different fun things she does there.  It was pretty fun.  I even got to do my own art project.

This afternoon we walked to the park since it was a really nice day.  On the way home was a gorgeous sunset with pink clouds.

Of course we didn’t take any pictures, so here is Martin Luther doing the chicken dance instead:

In the Record

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

Both girls recently had well-checks.  Here is what we know:

Danelle (as measured at the doc’s office…  I wonder about the height)

42″ and 46#

(97%+ for both)

Thea

25.5″ and 15#15.5oz

(90-97% for weight, 90% for length, I think)

You can check their %s here:
